Training

We are your training solutions provider for:

  • the Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC)
  • first aid and CPR

We offer our training courses to members of the public and to corporate groups.

The Wellesley Advantage

Our Firearms Safety Course is the Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC), which is recognized across Canada and meets the requirements for safety training under the Firearms Act in order for an individual to obtain a firearms licence (PAL).

Our instructors are active or former military and law enforcement officers and have many years of operational, on the job firearms handling experience.  The result is better preparation for our students, many of whom are obtaining a firearms licence as a job requirement to a law enforcement or armed security agency.

Our firearms course is tailored for the armed security and public safety professional.

Our trainers are certified by the Firearms Safety Education Service of Ontario, are current on the latest firearms industry trends and training, and have delivered the course to hundreds of students, including federal law enforcement officers, military personnel, and the public.

Our First Aid and CPR courses, which will begin in the fall of 2010, meet the requirements of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) and Health Canada, both of which mandate that employers have trained first aiders and first aid kits available at all times.

The comprehensive, safety-oriented first aid program includes Emergency First Aid and Standard First Aid certification and recertification courses designed for the public safety professional.  A variety of CPR courses are available in our program, including Level C HCP (Health Care Professionals).
